We were off to such a good start. Settled into our luxurious business class seats, baby sleeping in the bassinet, about to watch some TV and maybe get some sleep - one hour past LA there is a medical emergency on the plane and we have to turn back. Aaaand the fun begins.
We had to take the baby out of the bassinet to land in LA, so that was the end of that. We were stopped for about two hours, but couldn't get off the plane. By this time, it was about 2 or 3am Dallas time, so we were all a little tired. As you can see.
While we were stopped in LA, we got the wonderful news that instead of flying to Brisbane and then on to Sydney, we were now going to stop in Auckland because the crew weren't allowed to fly for that long. So on to Auckland we go...
